I would like to convert my REM 700 VTR cal. .308 from floor plate to magazine. Does anybody have canadian supplier?

Vbull, ATRS, Mystic precision, North Shore Barrels, Accurate Action. Those are only the few off the top of my head. Check out any of them and see what they offer and how much you want to spend. Lots of options for DBM systems for the Remington 700.

Detachable magazine conversion for the 700's made by Kwik Klip are a good option for a hunting rifle. Reasonable, very reliable, very popular.

Has any one installed the kwik klip in a 308? and does it vwork as good as they state in their website? we have a 700 sps AAC version. my gun smith said there was nothing available that fit with out a wack of modifying? maybe he just needs some business?

I put one on a Remington BDL in 260 with no troubles, bought it from accurateaction - it's a simple drop in replacement for the hinged floorplate, and it worked flawlessly - like Guntech said it is great for a hunting rifle.

I was at Casy's at Tacord last week and he was just finishing up installing a Seekins bottom metal. It looked really good and he says it is the easiest one to inlet because it is all straight lines and no angles to fiddle with

Kwik Klip doesn`t list .223 as a compatible caliber. Has anyone tried it? Are any of the available magazines compatible with .223 cartridges?

If not, which other one works best? I`m also looking at the Atlasworx bottom metal with AICS magazines. My issue is that only 10 round AICS magazines are available for .223.
