Chiappa M1 Carbines in 9mm!!!!!!! Non Restricted

Just bought a synthetic model from CSC. A more detailed review and range report to follow (I'll post in the black rifle section), but generally:

- both rear and front sights are steel
- barrel band/bayonet lug is plastic/polymer (and no a bayonet will not attach at the rear lug, but it does fit over the barrel at the front - I have not checked to see if a USGI part will fit, but can't imagine it won't)
- trigger guard is plastic/polymer
- mag adapter/mag well is aluminum
- USGI oiler and sling fit with no issues.
- USGI stock would require some work to fit, but overall dimensions seem correct.- mag included is indeed a pro-mag, and is ok quality wise.
- weight and size compared to my 43' national postal meter is pretty much bang on.

So you tried it in your real M1 stock & it didn't fit ?

Seems to be a jammomatic. :(

Looks like i'm gonna keep my sks

that not because one rifle always jam that they are all like this , that like anything it will always have someone to say the inverse ...

mine is in the mail waiting for it ..

i have a couple of box of ammo from different brand and bullet

Had it out at the range this weekend and put 100 rounds through it without a hitch. The JR seems to pattern compared to the groups this produced.

My JR hits what I'm shooting at .
Its not the function or accuracy (good or bad) of these M1 9mm its the construction & appearance that has turned me off.
I'm sure others find no problem with it & that's fine with me

Mine doesn't.

And does your bolt lock back button seem inconsistent....looks like mine doesn't have a deep enough indent for the button to catch the edge.

All in all....it's accurate and jam free so far.
