For example, if you search "СКС" using Cyrillic, you'll find many SKS videos. If you type "CKC" using a US keyboard, you get something entirely different... I'm talking about the 2nd video in the results...probably not something that should be linked here...let's just say.

Any semi auto rifle can be made to shoot full auto. SVT is not exception. Now do we really want another rifle prohibited? Keep this up and choppers will start circling up over it.

^ The anti gun eggheads already know about AVT's, they want all semi automatics banned anyway, this won't change anything.

Good luck fellas. Will never find a real one. If you are lucky, you will find an SVT in an AVT stock... if you do find an AVT with the selector switch removed, keep it quiet.

Unfortunately all those videos are shot using blanks. Neat, but lackluster if not using ball rounds.

They are uncontrollable hence the reason the Russians dropped their use and only used the semi auto versions. Not to mention they self destructed themselves in full auto, a interesting novelty but of no real practical use.

The rifles just weren't built to withstand the abuse associated with firing automatic, especially for prolonged periods.
