First 10/22 build help me mod my t-22 sport chassis

while i appreciate everyones opinion and I enjoy conflicting view points, how about we try and act like adults. Without calling people out, if some of us share the view point of wanting to spend a grand or more tricking out a 10/22 than thats our business. If anyone disagrees, thats fine thats your opinion, although this may not be a thread for you. But lets try and keep the personal attacks out of it. Also to be totally frank, who cares? Are you so powerless in your daily life that you need to be a #### on friendly gun forums, or the internet in general to feel better about yourself.?..

There are a lot of threads and a lot of people who need to take that advice.

Hey guys, I hope you don't mind if I ask a question on your thread. I have a 1022 , Nordic chassis, and a tacsol barrel. I'm going to order a Timmy ,complete trigger drop in. Question is . Will the Timmy trigger come with a new extracter? Sorry if this is a stupid ? It's all very new to me.

Extractor or ejector? The extractor is the part on the bolt that pulls spent casings out of the chamber, I'd be really surprised if Timney included one in with their trigger. If you mean ejector, then yes in the pictures on their website has what looks to be a ejector included.

I've seen threads where guys say you should upgrade the extractor. Just wondering if I should or would need to do that also. I'm that far gone now ,that I may as we'll go all the way with the upgrades.:):)

Please correct me if Im wrong. I believe the extractor is on the bolt that helps extracts the spent case. It doesnt do any ejecting. I believe the ejector is on the mag lips and the part of the trigger housing that is besides the mag release.
Ive seen vids where the extractor was removed and the gun still cycled.
I know I had extraction issues and jams with my stock extractor. When I put in a power customs one. I had alot less issues.

Couldn't hurt to do an upgrade, kidd, volquartsen are two that come to my mind. Besides what would it hurt to have an extra extractor kicking around.

hey chem, hows the claymore setup working out? anything noteworthy? thinking about pulling the trigger (pardon the pun) on purchasing a 12.5 dlask fluted barrel, claymore, washer and some other stuff. sorry i was mia been at the cottage for a while burning through many thousands of rounds, so feeling a little less guilty about replacing it.

Claymore is working out fine. Wont get to shoot the gun again for quite a while though while I'm away at school. How much does the dlask go for?

I like how it didn't collect as much dirt and grit from burnt powder as the dlask brake that I had on there did. You could see the holes in the brake start to choke up on the dlask after about 1000 rounds or so of the dirty ammo I usually shoot. Seems on the claymore it just gets blow out of there or doesn't build up as badly for some reason.

fluted from dlask is $240 and non fluted from hical.ca made by dlask is $200.. but i always think about weight and $40 seems worth cutting a little... yea its a 10/22 it should feed everything, nothing wrong with the cheap stuff when your just messing around plinking. i got a great deal on 10,000 rounds of winchester m22 and then ended up buying another 4,000 rounds the other day.. so yea been burning through a ton of that stuff

TRX rail sections are available on amazon.ca. I have had zero issues with my T-22, including the halves separating as some report. But I also pull the forend in to control the muzzle. With an SR-22 bbl it is super lightweight. Best. 10/22 chassis. Ever.
