Slippery Synthetic stock cure?

I find some synthetic stocks slippery especially the ones without checkering. Is there a glue on product or something to help with this?

I needed a quick fix for one of mine. Ended up putting a few squares of grip tape (like you'd put on stairs) on the butt, worked great.

It might sound funny, but hockey tape is perfect stuff for the job. Plus, when you take it off, it don't leave a bunch of goop behind to have to remove with Goof Off or similar adhesive remover.

Super durable stuff too.

Stippling. Search for it on youtube. Easy to do just trace a nice margin first

where would get Textured pain? at an Automotive store like NAPA?

Giver a stiff rub down with sand paper or rub some balsam tree sap all over it

I would say hockey tape or grip tape available at all the places mentioned above and most sports or skateboard shops.

Hockey or grip tape mentioned will do if you want a temporary fix. Stippling or sanding for a permanent fix. The stuff used on truck steps will do too.
