Solution for anyone looking for bulk 22lr

I'm unfortunately stuck with my 1,000 round massive package of sh!tty Winchester M22 that jams all the time in my 597.

You're more than welcome to buy the rest of mine if you'd like.

I have used the thunderbolts as well (200 came with my Takedown) they were dirty, after each box of 50, I was having to wipe the barrel.

I have a 10 mag & 25 mag that came with the gun (I traded a truck for the gun, scope & mags.) I bought another 25rnd Butler Creek that has issues, I just haven't had time to sand the metal down yet. I love my speed loader though... When I get the second mag running, or a drum, I'll be in heaven :D
 
Post it on EE and youll sell it fast. Some guns like bulk, some guns like cci and some only shoot the good stuff.
You should know 22s are picky and one 597 may like it and another may not.
If youre going to whine about it, maybe try shooting centerfire and see if you like that.
Its not like I decided to only package it in 1000 boxes. If you lived closer sure Id buy the ammo!

They shoot ok but 1400 rounds isn't what I call bulk. I'd use a pail a day gopher shooting.


Ten and twenty thousand rounds is bulk.

No offence but you are either a really bad shot or you need to de-select full auto. I honestly can't imagine getting more than 150-200 gophers in a day. Where are the rest of the rounds going?

I was thinking the same thing, if he's actually killing 1400 gophers a day, shouldn't they be on the endangered species list by now??? lol , we don't have that big of a gopher problem in canada :)

Do you only shoot at gophers, and you always make first round hits/kills? Some of us enjoy shooting, whether it be at fur balls or at other indiscriminate targets like cow patties, gopher mounds or your own supplied targets. 1400 rounds doesn't last long, maybe two outings if they're half day affairs.

Maybe gophers are tougher in northern Alberta, and you have to empty the clip on them before they expire.
 
Ive gone though 500+ gophers one three sections of land in one day. I honestly believe in some parts of Saskatchewan they have such large numbers that 1400 wouldnt be a lie.

Shoot rem yellowjackets thru my target pistol and have not cleaned it in 2 years and it is NOT dirty ammo. A quick spray of wd40 and 1 patch is all she gets. Not every session either. Also not one ftf ever.
 
Good point. Yellowjackets seem to be cleaner than golden bullets. My bad. They are also almost twice as expensive.
Some guns have issues with the yellowjackets do to the shape of the bullet.
