peeps on 10/22 bull barrel?

I currently have the tech 100 peeps on my 10/22, absolutely love the sights but find they look slightly goofy with my boyds stock and stock barrel. I want to get a bull barrel but most of them have a threaded end on them. Has anyone put the front sight on a bull barrel with the threaded end yet?
 
Call up ac douglas here in stoon im pretty sure he dovetailed my buddys bull barrel or just ask the guys at dlask to do it if your buying the barrel from them.
 
To get the green mountain barrels in canada I think I have to get a permit to brink it over the border or something right? Dlask website looks promising too, ill snoop around on there.

I just fired them an email. Funny how all the great gun stores and hard to find items are in BC. Sask is lacking for aftermarket parts I have found mostly.
 
I asked dlask a while ago and they'll cut a dovetail in a bull barrel for a front sight, right behind the threading if you wish(iirc)
 
With the tech sights you should be fine with just a threaded hole instead of a dovetail since the tech sight front post screws into a dove tail baseplate I believe, at least is the case with the mkii front sight from tech sights. I will be doing the same to a heavy barrel mkii in a week or so .
