Set up for Tavor?

I've run 3 Tavors with Elcans with zero issues in any shooting position as well. Also ran a Eotech setup with magnifier and that was quite a nice set up. Ran various 1-4x optics as well and always enjoyed the setups. The only optic I've ever had an issue with on my Tavor was the vortex razor 1-6. The eye relief was to long and found I had to mount it so far forward on the rail it upset the balance of the rifle greatly. Awesome optic but just didn't work for me in the Tavor. Great choice on the aimpoint, I'm going to be running a ML2 on a Tav that's on route right now.

Are you talking about the Razor HD Gen 2 1-6x?

When I tried TV-PP's it seemed fine on his set up. I prefer the elcan though for its ability as a red dot on 1x, then a quick through lever and now we are on 4x. The overally compactness of the elcan, the dual role functionality, and clarity of glass is what makes me say the elcan is the way to go.

I find longer tubed scopes look really weird and out of place on the Tavor in my opinion.
 
Yes referring to the 2nd gen 1-6. Just didn't work for me. Quality optic but the forward mounting and overall weight thru off the rearward weight balance. Suddenly felt front heavy in comparison to the Elcan that mounts so nicely to the rear keeping that desired feel a bull pup offers. I have since thru it on my XCR.
