Loading info for 204 Ruger

I noticed that back in November last year you asked for load data for 200 gr bullets, and listed the powders you had on hand, but didn't say what cartridge the data was for. If you buy a loading manual, it will provide you with both a selection of appropriate powders for your bullet of choice, and the load data. More importantly it will provide all sorts of useful information that you will need to build your loads safely while allowing you to maximize the potential of your cartridge. You can get the data you need from the Hodgdon web site, but don't proceed until you understand what you're doing.

Thanks . There was no load data in the book for 26 grain projectile for 204 Ruger , that's why I asked on the site . As for Barnes web site , I indeed did find some info with only 2 brands of powder , again , that's why I asked here .

What manual did you buy? Generally, close counts when it comes to bullet weights. For example, Hodgdon shows a 24 grain bullet. If they didn't give data for a 26 grain, the 24 grain data would do. Two grains won't matter.
Except that the 26 is a Barnes Varmint Grenade. A copper-tin powdered metal core surrounded by a gilding metal jacket bullet will fly differently than a lead cored bullet. Needs Barnes data or data developed specifically for that bullet.
There are 11 powders given for 26 grain data on Hodgdon's site. It just happens to be for a Barnes Varmint Grenade.
Barnes' data is only good for their bullets, but they want you to buy their manual, so they limit how much is on-line. Look in a Lyman book and see if the data you want is there.
