New BCG leaking around gas key

You cannot deduce anything on a sample size of 1 or 2.
I own neither DD or BCM bolts but I wouldn't hesitate to use them on any of my builds based on 1-2 failures.
I have been using CMT HP/MPI tested bolts on all of my builds and so far I'm batting 1,000.
Does that mean anything to the guy that has a failure with the same bolt.
I don't think so.

There's no hype with bcm. Everyone puts out a lemon on occasion. The fix is usually as simple as tightening the key and staking, however I'm betting it was already staked so a repair/replace from bcm would be the answer.

As for this happening to others, its common on low end junk or parts guns. It does happen from the factory and its a minor issue.

I dont think you can legally send your BCM BCG into the US without any import permit.
It is probably better to deal with it through the retailer you bought from or the distributor.

I bought it directly from bravocompanyusa. I live 10min away from the border… I declared it paid the taxes and brought it home. Now it’s going back home!

US prison is not a fun place to spend your life.... May want to look into the laws on the US side of the border if you plan on doing that again.

there is a provision to return goods for warranty repair under ITAR...not so for the export though.

Have you tried firing it - albeit in single shot mode or expecting malfunctions - for a say 10-30 rds....sometimes the carbon build up will "seal" the leak...not the best way to deal with it but it has been known to work.
