I was just browsing the ORA website. Looking through the calendar there are some events labelled as practice days mons range. Is this for all members? Can non members show up and pay $45 guest fee? Restrcistions on guns?

Thanks

This is the type of thread that I believe doesn't belong in the precision rifles forum. And I believe I'm not the only one who thinks so. It has nothing to do with precision rifles. It would be much better asked in the general firearms section, or maybe the long range precision competition forum.

Lol thanks for contributing to the post count. It's what pays the bills around here. And you probably know the answer and decided not to post.

I only asked it here because I know all the guys who attend it are precision guys who live in here. I do from the bottom of my heart apologize though for making you read this. If I can reimburse your time please let me know and I will have my accountant cut a cheque immediately lmao

Mods if you could please move thread. I genuinely thought this was a smart place to post as all the precision guys are here. Please move to the correct forum. Otherwise this may get really expensive for me to pay everyone's time.

Guests are welcome at Practice Days, pay the $45 and you are good to go.

I was wondering that also , but got a reply from Barney stating that there is no practice days , it's more like show up and everyone decides what they want to do. I would think that you would still shoot a match at a practice level

July 5th has just been made a practice day at the Winona Range. It will be short range all day (300 yards).

best way to practice is to bring a buddy and a pair of walki talkies. mark for each other.

Go to the ORA web page, click on the month, then click non the day. It should tell you right there what ranges will be shot that day. Of course this is subject to change, but if the calendar says 1000 yards, don't bring your SKS and your pistol.
