Checking in to see if a scope I ordered months ago was in and also to see if they had some ammo I was looking for in stock, and they didn't and the scope wasn't in either. So I start making small talk and ask if they ever got those CZ's they ordered so long ago, and the reply was as a matter of fact we got four of them yesterday. Well then, I must have a look at em. The gun came with the same ole stuff ( case/manual/cleaning brush) but I was quite impressed it had three mags with it The gun fit my hand so well and I was very pleased with the trigger pull SA and DA. The fit and finish was top notch as well. My hand then looked at me and said "you need this gun" and I replied "yes I do". So I reach for my wallet which was not hard to find due to the fact that it was burnin a hole in my leg and just bought my new CZ SP-01 at an unreal price. Paperwork should be done tomorrow or the next, just in time for a trip to the range on the weekend. Best part is a local pickup where my personal CFO doesn't see a package from Canada post arrive at the house and she'll be none the wiser of a new pistol to the collection BWA HA HA.
 
Oh geez. "Personal CFO" - yes, I have one of those too, and yes local sales are the only option now. Canada Post used to be my best friend, but now they are my worst enemy as the "personal cfo" put the kibosh on new firearms purchases. Enjoy your SP-01.

(BTW-women have been hiding new purses and stuff from men for forever now, but they go absolutely gonzo with new gun stuff in the mail. I will follow my "personal cfo" to the mall and dig up some dirt.)
 
Congrats on your new gun I go through the same when i go to the LGS. #### i have the same problem when I pick up a case of beer i grab a 12 pack and the 15 are on sale talk about pushy sales people. LOL well a few extra won't hurt lol You have a nice gun
 
Went to the range last night with the new toy and well well well, what a pistol. Very accurate and a pleasure to shoot. I noticed when you get the tenth round in the mag you can hear the bullets rattle but when nine are in there is no rattle. ( is this common). Now got to decide on a holster, any recommendations are welcome. Back to the range tomorrow to shoot some steel plates, I think I may have a new favourite pistol
 
Congrats on the fine new CZ pistol! The Yanks don't buy tons of them because they're too heavy for concealed carry but their weight is part of what makes them great at the range! Solid, built to last, and easy to shoot well! :)

Glad I dont have a personal CFO, wife and I are RPAL.
We are very reasonable about purchases, respect her opinion as she does mine.

When there is something I'm interested in I simply say to her "what do you think?". As its not a monetary question because if I / we couldn't afford it i wouldnt consider it, Sometimes she will mention "are you sure about that one?" "You were looking at that other one"...

So its open conversation, just have a cordial chat about it.
