do you lock your matches and gasoline jerry-cans & propane tank too?
Are matches and jerry cans regulated by the NRCAN & the explosives act.

The guy is not aware of the regulations and thought they needed to be stored differently. Why give the guy a hard time?

I c some of you are serious horders when it comes to powder. And it's not locked up ??
Am I missing something
K

The regulations allow that.

Referring to some gunners as hoarders with one side of the mouth and asking them for advice with the other side...
Sorry, I did not feel the need to be the gentleman that you are.
Maybe I felt targeted with my 23 lbs (total of 5 powders)...

How could he be targeting you? You don't have a post on this thread showing your setup. You could be just talking out your a$$ sitting on your one jug of varget for all we know.

By his post, I got that he was impressed with some of the supplies and was curious as to regulations because he was under the impression they were to be stored differently.

Sometimes if you have nothing good to say, it's better to say nothing at all.

I'm new to the game and I was under the impression
That everything needs to be locked up seperatly
(Powder/primer ) but looks like a devoted room means just that
My stuff locked up tight

I'm not hating on the hoarders just pointing
Out the obvious

So if I were to start hoarding powder too
It's ok to keep let's say 20-30 lbs on a shelf
In a room that is locked up???
Thanks and happy hoarding to all

20-30lbs is not hoarding for many here, that may only be a year or so supply and when it is difficult to get powder you need to plan ahead.

My setup so far, I stole the idea for the ammo crates on the wall from did_b, fantastic idea. Had to modify one so it would hold 8 lb jugs.
Realize I'm going to need more shelving, finally got it cleaned up enough for a couple of pics to share.
The bench I got from my ex-neighbour in Guelph, has some history to it, apparently it was his grandfather's. I believe it has to be very early 20th century, as the bolts and screws are very dated.

Hi Fellow Gunnutz! I finally finished the move into our new home, and managed to get my Hunting/Reloading/Sanctuary Room set up. This is the first time all (except for 2) of my Head Mounts are together with my loading bench and hobby room. Many years waiting to get this setup like this! I am PUMPED!

I will lay out a series of pictures that I hope you will like/appreciate. My room represents a lifetime of hunting, and shooting.

Some pictures are just my version of artistic appreciation. Hope this is appropriately placed in the correct forum thread!

now that's very nice, I could spend a whole lotta hours day dreaming in that room, never mind the reloading :D

Thank you for the compliments guys! In 1995 I moved to GP, and the area has been very generous to me!

Incredible numbers of big game, and quality animals for those who put the hours in!

Now I just need to find the time to go shooting and enjoy my Loading Room. Work tends to get in the way, but it pays for the toys! LOL!

Thank you for the opportunity to share my pictures fellow Gunnutz!

Reloading bench made from a retired entertainment center.

Of course there is a story behind it.
Went to a showing/sale of custom furniture.
The price for this solid oak piece was $800 plus.
There was a Spin and Win for prises and discounts.
The biggest discount was $200 . . . and I won!

These pieces are now worth nothing - Auction Barns won't even accept them.
Now that I have done one it would be easier to make better cuts on the second.
The pieces cut out to reduce the height are used to laminate the top section to the bottom.

My wife even came out to see how it was going and suggested shelving along the back.

The box on the left side is my other press for transporting to the range.
