I say yea. Not crazy expensive but not your run-of-the-mill AR price either. I know a large number of people on CGN think the sun rises and sets out of DD rifles so I'm sure they will be along shortly to state "NAY" because you can get a DD for $600 less. But for what they are, I think CC has priced these right.
Would I like these to be priced at DD prices? Of course I would. I'd also like a toilet made out of solid gold but it's just not in the cards now is it? :D

That price point means I will never own one of these rifles. Didn't Colt say these were marketed toward Military and LEO who want the same rifle for their civilian life? They must make a hell of a lot more than I thought they did.

Nay.

Look at what come out from down south for far less than $2100.
Most people agree that Colt is no longer "IT". Far too many companies have surpassed them in quality and performance....for less.

Some will pay for the name...kinda like designer jeans.

Great they are available, but I would Not waste my $2100 on a plain standard rifle.

No way. At $2K + it's way too steep for this guy.
You can build your own AR exactly the way you want it from scratch for way way less.

I'm a fan of the bare bones, classic AR15's. I like these, they are simple and look pretty sharp.
I get the whole "Colt brand" thing, but not for this guy and not for that price though.
Still very happy with my Franken-A1 clone

They look very nice and I am sure they are very well made. The price point seems fair? It is a shame they are restricted as that could hamper sales.

$2300 for the carbine and $2100 for the rifle. We have a couple on order, but I feel they are priced way to high for them to sell lots of them.
