Pump action ARs?

Who else has heard about plumb action AR Troy is building? And does anyone know when/if they'll be brought to canada? They defiantly seem like a good way to get the AR look and still be NR, when I first seen it I thought it was a dumb idea but the more I read it seems like a good idea.

Thoughts comments concerns?

Why not just wait for the straight pull AK-47 to get it's FRT?



I think the pump AR was already tried at the RCMP lab. Verdict=AR variant IIRC, therefore still restricted.

Laws in the US are significantly different than in Canada. Those pump ARs still use a typical AR15 lower receiver. If you were to throw a BCM upper on there, it would be a semiautomatic again. Hell, you can get crossbow uppers. It doesn't matter - in Canada, the lower is the gun, so that is what makes it restricted.

Dlask arms built one with a proprietary upper and lower (not interchangeable) and it was classed as restricted by the RCMP

calling it an ar is the 1st mistake. If you want any sporting rifle to be classified NR you have to call it something like "the namby pamby rainbow pony" or something
