You're correct, the PH mounts need PH rings, somtimes you find modified Weaver type - but then, they may be off-center. The PH rings show here and there on E-Bay.

I have a lee enfield that needs some Parker hale rings too. If you find more than one set let me know. I saw some on ebay but for $260 I'll keep using iron sights...

If you cant find them for a reasonable price ... under $100. I'd be inclined to see about getting the action bases drilled and tapped for weaver bases

I wouldn't have a clue, all I can tell you is that he was attempting to use 1" low or medium base rings, designed for a 3/4" Weaver base. There are pics at the top of the thread.

Those rings appear to be an inexpensive off-shore brand made to fit a Weaver style base. As they are a low cost ring, drill the bottom portion for a recoil stud to fit the base.

I thought about that, but the clamping stud goes right through the middle where a recoil stud would be, also those rings really don't fit the Parker-Hale base profile very well.

Well that's out. I'll check to see if I have a surplus set of PH rings.

throw those P-H bases in the garbage where they belong, and get a set of Weaver,Leopold,Burris or other steel rings and bases .
P-H stuff is 1950's done.

Disagree - It would be difficult to get and mount other bases for this rifle. Absolutely nothing wrong with PH mounts and rings.

i have ph rings markt rahs.3 one has demple on the bottem that looks like it woud fit your base i measured from base to bottom of ring is .465 i woud like to trade bases and rings for win. 94 angle eject mine has two holes inline over chamber at front one hole on each side at rear if u woud like to check me out go to lillooet rod and gun club u can phone me at 2502560622 between 9am 9pm pacific time thanks roy rogers
