Side Charging AR Uppers.

Since we can get LAR Mags, anyone know if these were ever, or could be imported in to Canada?

LAR Grizzly OPS-4 Upper Receiver or the ASA AR-15 M4 Side Charger Upper?

We used to carry the ASA side charge uppers, but have dropped the line due to a total lacking of support from the manufacturer in regards to warranty issues.

So that leaves LAR as a possible option.

If you want a side charging upper, my recommendation would be to look into a JP Enterprises, SCR model. It's a paddle system, left side of the receiver, unlike the OPS-4.

ADCOR makes a fantastic system as well. Charging handle is on the hanguard. My B.E.A.R Elite has been functionning flawlessly.

I'm going to say a dirty phrase here: IceArms has a side charging upper that could be imported. Let the hating begin...

Some of their uppers were not within spec, so the failure to feed issues were high. I believe it was a QC problem, but they opted to not do anything to correct the problems for our customers who got the out of spec units leaving us to hold the bag.
We replaced the defective ASA uppers with our own product in order to keep customers happy, but no longer do any business with ASA.
