Seems like a better option than the handguard mount I'm using right now.
At least its at an intelligent height rather than the ones that sit an inch above the dust cover.

I very much want this mounting system though...

Why not just get the railed dust cover?

This is lower and you can co-witness. I also like the advantages of a side rail as you can pull the scope off if needed. Versatility.

Yeah you can pull the r/d off the dust cover rail and still use the irons too tho.

Looks to be a tiny bit lower. Perhaps only a few mm.

Still not interested in the dust cover. Still want the rail.

Brownells have them on sale for 99 USD. I just ordered it along with Aimpoint mount plate.

Rumor has it Zahal has been working on RS regulate for awhile. Hopefully the export paper work is wrapped up soon...
