The Downside of Being a Lifelong Trophy Hunter......

No idea what this means............lizards with a 22 rimfire.......5' land monitor and a 6' water monitor.

Tetris is a computer game where you basically put various shaped blocks together in a puzzle as they fall from the screen. The object is no voids. You sir would be a champion

Hoyt, I seriously considered cutting a hole in the top and blowing it full of "peanuts" or ping pong balls............then I thought about the other end of the journey..........Can you imagine the mess when I open the back doors? The neighbors would run me out of the community, there would be styro peanuts all over about a 5 sq mile area down wind......... Wouldn't I be popular...........

I have a solution for you... instead of "styro" peanuts, use real peanuts... buy two bushels of corn on the cob, open the back door of the container, start a bonfire and invite all the neighbors over... don't serve beer until all the mounts are unpacked...

You're welcome...

Situations like this are why we need SOMA.

An aspect of Brother Douglas' life is in turmoil, and a society of like minded individuals might be better equipped in the empathy department.

That would be a society of three... you, Douglas and Ardent and maybe a bootlicker to fetch the scotch...

Oh c'mon gentlemen, let's not quibble, it is an arduous task, but yes it is a first world task certainly.

Thanks to Dogleg for the understanding of what is involved, and the support of the SOMA group.............it will be done..........

It will all be worth it & as you said it's your retirement home... So it should be your last move!

Good luck & I look forward to the pics of the mounts all in their new homes!

Cheers
Jay

It is going to be a slow unpacking process as well, all my mounts are filthy and must be thoroughly cleaned and some repaired before they take their places of honor, in their new home. Another first world problem I know...........however it must be done.

Hoyt..........not a bad idea, except for the repairs and cleaning.......

Jay............that is kinda the idea, as long as I can continue to get along with this wife.................given my history though............

I seem to git along soo much better with me wifie when I'm or she's not home.
Way less nagg'in too.
She likes to text and I don't.
Funny thang 'bout cell fones is they have an awn awf button.
My awf button is plumb wore out.
Easy to spot on the flippie.

I'm going to be faced with the same task, albeit on a smaller scale. All my mounts are in SK at either my parents place (buff, impala x 2, caribou, springbok and civet) or my aunt and uncle's place (Kudu, gemsbok, wildebeest, blesbok, muskox and bison). I wasn't sure how I would move all that plus my guns, safe, ammo and a bunch of miscellaneous crap (and whatever I can half-inch from the old man) across the country. But those racks look like the real deal and just the ticket to fit all my stuff into one of those uhaul pods to get everything out here safely. Now to find the space for the stuff!

Lol... I cut cigars too.... even know how to appreciate the good ones.... I just want to hear the hunting stories from People passionate about the sport....

To be honest hoyt, I would think this would he up your alley.... I really enjoyed the write up you did on the bull moose you harvested.... very well done....
