Trappers: Does my Manitoba Trappers Liscence allow me to obtain a trappers liscence

You'd probably have to contact the appropriate authority in Ontario. Having previously held a license in another province can qualify you for a Manitoba license, not sure how it works elsewhere. Ask them if they allow non resident Canadians to hold a license in their province as well.

I have right after this post :) Waiting for an answer. Not sure why I posted here in the first place. Probably because I live here and thought it might be a good discussion :D

I know that our liscence/Trapper Education qualifies us for alberta, saksatchewan but wasn't sure for Ontario.

IIRC, in Ontario you need to have an area to trap in before you can get a licence... either written permission from a landowner or a registered trapline on crown land ( hard to get.) Once you get permission, your licence is only valid for that property. You are allowed to trap on your own property of course. I don't know if a manitoba licence will be enough to exempt you from taking the course.

That settles it then. I did find that information late last night as well.
