That was everybody's recommendation at the club as well. I must be thick, I thought I knew better. Maybe I did not spend enough? The SVI sight trackers are looking awful good right now!!Just shoot production with a CZ Shadow![]()

Time for an SV......
2011 mags ALWAYS need to be initially fitted. If you want absolutely flawless feeding you need to spend the time(lots of it) to tune the mags. Most factory mags "might" work just fine, but 1911/2011s may have small differences in mag catch height, mag release drop point(amt. you need to stroke the release and for that matter how long). Height and angle of feed lips, follower adjustments, etc....
I did not mean to sound or insinuate it was his doing, I would be completely flustered and P*ssed too at that rate of failure. My apologies if that is the way it soundedI feel with bambam on this one; depending on where the mag's came from. We paid $87 each for STI .45 2011 mag's, and I've not had a single issue with the Legend or any of the mag's; if I was getting 40%FTF's I would be royally fit to be tied. Pay that much and it doesn't run flawlessly?![]()

I guess what I was trying to get across was that sometimes you get good mags and get lucky,...sometimes not. I can't tell you the # of hours I have spent fixing brand new mags and sometimes brand new pistols for people. A lot of variables at play.
