Well when you have to deal with something so ridiculous as our so called gun laws, then humor is the only way to go, otherwise you'll go mad! I used to seriously contemplate moving south of border where you can actually own a piece of land as opposed to buying residency rights from the crown :D

Yeah, but then you have to deal with the BS of SBRs, AOW, SBS, .922r, FFLs and a whole gamut of other state legislated garbage. I've toyed with the idea of moving to the US, but the crap you have to deal with there is greater than the crap you have to deal with here in my opinion. Easy access and full capacity magazines don't outweigh the cons.

But if you own a chunk of land you can shoot handguns, ARs or carry a backup handgun with you when you hunt or get a CCW if that turns your fancy. So you make up your trust and apply for the tax stamps. Just find a nice gun-friendly state. :)

after spending some time on ar15.com and watching the debates there, oh boy. it's confusing.

I'll have to disagree with you on that. I think in my retirement years, I will find myself a nice, warm and gun-friendly state, buy a piece of land, pay for tax stamps and rain lead on office supplies.

That's just my little dream.

You should look at Vermont or New Hampshire.
