has anyone else had this problem?

That was my one & only issue with the "RS", I could not get comfortably low enough to use the irons.

The new LSP & HBA should allow you/me to use fixed, or flip-up iron sights comfortably.
I am looking forward to trying the new items very soon.

In prototype form.

i like that setup looks good! but the only problem is i utilize the stripper clip feed port.
i dont like having 20 mags on my vest, just lighter and easier to carry clips my 2 cents.

I hear you, and I had the same issue with my SAGE EBR stocks until I replaced the butt stock with a PMRI/PRS2.
This SAGE butt stock allows me to get low enough to use the iron sights comfortably with a quick comb adjustment,
and keep my stripper clip guide accessible. Unfortunately, this is not an option on the "RS".

EDIT: I did contact Frank about a LOW butt stock adapter. He was open to the idea, but it's not in their plans.
This makes sense because very few users of modern stocks even think about using the stripper clip for topping off mags.
Everybody seems to be trying to be more AR like in configuration & ergonomics.
