Canada ammo has the grizzly https://www.canadaammo.com/product/detail/dominion-arms-grizzly-shotgun-12-5-w-ghost-ring-sights/ and i suppose you could do whatever you want with it once you have it but like MC said you will run into trouble if you get a gun grip for it
Yes.
They've changed the "interpretation" of C-17/C-68 since that initial batch, and the factory short rule doesn't apply to pistol gripped shotguns anymore, which is kind of a shame, but only sort of.
A pistol grip shorty looks great in video games, but is a bit of a beast to handle.
The DA Grizzlies take any 870 compatible stock/pistol grip, so, as has been mentioned, do what you want. But if it falls under 26" OAL, then if you get caught with it, you'll get to enjoy 3 years of free room and board.
The current "workaround" are Bird's Head grips, which if done right, can keep the length just barely over the 26" OAL minimum.

12.5 barrel is still under 26" with the birds head grip. The 14" barrel just makes it. The pistol grip shotgun is a really fun TOY, but I wouldn't use mine for anything serious, especially not bear defense (is bear defense day today, if not I'm so sorry), or even shooting into space
