Austria's Custom Gunshops - P. Hofer & J. Fanzoj

Great post! Incredible work, and amazing to see what the really well off might fill there safes with. What I've considered to be "high end" firearms suddenly look like crude, basic tools, when compared to those pieces.

The small double does indeed look like it was the .17HMR version, to be honest I was so giddy at what was put in my hands I didn't really pay attention to every little detail.
I don't believe the 4 bore has been fired yet, I suspect there is some intimidation factor involved, though if they handed me 2 rounds and offered me the chance I'd gladly accept a dislocated shoulder and concussion for the experience :).
If you have to ask how much you can't afford them, it's really that simple. When you look at the walls and see photo's of George Bush, Vladimir Putin and such you realize the market they appeal to.
For most of us a $200 000 firearms seems ridiculous, but there's a lot of old money in Europe and lots of extremely wealthy people in the world. If your net worth is in the 10's and 100's of millions $200 000 is relatively the same amount as what most of us spend on our guns, it's not that much when you're in that league. And it goes without saying the amount of time involved in making these adds up real quick, someone has to be paid for all those hours and labour isn't cheap especially that of skilled craftsmen.
