LAR 15 Magazines

I honestly don't believe magazine capacity limits were ever on the table.

Besides, It won't apply until spring next year anyways, so, if you want to shoot 10 rounds this summer/fall, why not check out what Questar is offering. They're a good place to start at least.

BTW, in my experience at a dozen TacMatch and 3 guns most ARs will run fine with either version LAR mag. Billet guns (like NEA) seem to be a little finicky, as are T97.

I am relaxed... but I would wait until we hear it from the 'horses mouth' before I purchased any more of them. Considering they will be confirming or denying the speculation in less than a week.
By that logic, they will also be confirming or denying the existence of extraterrestrials as well.

Thanks for the advice guys. I have an AR (waiting on it to be delivered). I actually ordered some C Defense Mags from the states (not sure if it's against the rules to mention the vendor) but I haven't heard back from them and after numerous phone calls and emails I don't think my order will be fulfilled. I'll try ordering one of each kind (Questar and C Defense) from Canada to see which one will work better. I just want to avoid any lemons.

No that is not even close. So by your logic you should run out and buy as many 50 Beowulf, LAR etc. as you can at the premium they for go for then wait 5 days to see if the government wants you to rivet them to 5?

The OP asked an honest question and i answered the same way I would answer a friend that asked the same question. There are ubsubstantiated rumors that pistol mag rules in a rifle may change, and it sounds like there will be some clarification on the matter on Wednesday. If nothing is changing go get some, if the rules are changing then they are at least making an informed decision when they buy them.

To the OP: I have 2 different types of metal LAR mags, at least one type was from Questar, and they have run without any issues at all.

I just checked out the 50 Beowulf mags from press Check Ventures. Are these legal for use in an AR15?

Sorry if it's a dumb question but I don't know the rules about duel use mags. From what I found these weren't approved by the RCMP since they're produced domestically and are intended for a NR rifle.
