Colt Canada Rifles a Limited Run?

I just picked my Sa 15.7 up yesterday. Pretty much bang on what my C8 on tour was. Was it pricey? Sure. Did I care about the price being 2300? No my Wilson Combat was more expensive and I am not rich by any means on a military salary. Way back when a man told me when you buy right you buy once. The fit and finish is awesome, the quality is there would I buy future products from Colt Canada? Without question. Is this a rushed post, sure but you get the point. People out there will buy them and see the quality. Last bit I am not some fanboy, I was ear marking a DDv3 for my first AR until I heard the rumours of CC doing civi sales.

Editing to include all this crap that a military member can't afford this... Oh wait I am in the military as an NCM with apparently the most expensive rifle in the world from how talks on here have portrayed it. This whole argument that you can't afford things because your in the military is a farce.

Thanks for the pep talk. But I like my life just the way it is. I got to travel the world to do my job, and did things that I would of never had the opportunity to do as a civi. Yeah a NCM's pay isn't the greatest. But it gets me buy and I have no complaints about it.

All my gun money comes from side jobs I do ( I'm a carpenter by trade ) But side jobs means less time with the wife and kids. So its a trade off.

Family is more important than money or possessions.

I am a fan of the sling mount on the back of this.

First time ever seeing a magwell lock and honestly I am pretty impressed.

Sling mount is different from the issued one. But looks more functional.

It's been posted. These are military rifles for the public.... everything except the fun switch.

No need to worry, .223 will shoot fine (and safely) through a 5.56 chamber.

While I believe you're right, other opinions differ, especially because of the higher pressures that can be developed by civilian ammo.

what are you talking about....
556 is the higher pressure ammo.
223 is fine in a 556 rifle.

You have this backwards. If the gun is stamped .223 and you're firing 5.56 through it, there could be trouble.
