20" AR barrels

Canam has 20" dominion arms barrels. Other than that, the EE, import one or go custom. I looked for a week straight.

Wolverine has Armalite 20" in stock.
The Nork....err Dominion Arms are pencil barrels, nice if you want to build an M16 clone....

The 20 inchers seemed to go out of style when Operation Iraqi Freedom started. Everyone wanted the M4 carbine like clones (or shorter) because they looked cool. A dealer I knew at the time made that observation as well. He was selling carbines to rifles at a 4 to 5:1 ratio.

Same with Kimber Desert Warriors--the few that they got in sold out in a flash...

Right so I'm sure there were guys building M4's out of their rifles so where are all the used 20" barrels ?

You should have no trouble getting one from Brownells. All it takes is 5 minutes worth of paperwork and waiting a month or so for them to get the permit. Easy peasy. I recently received my 24" barrel from them for my 204 Ruger build.

Hical said they were bringing in 20" barrels because they were "90% sure the AR15 was going to become non restricted with a barrel over 18.5 inches" .......

Interesting what some people tell you when you are at their store......personally I'll believe it if it ever happens.
