2014 Knotty Pine this past weekend

Just wanted to say thanks to Frank and everyone who came out and made it a great shoot and to the ladies running the registration and supplying the Saturday night dinner, which of course was excellent as usual, the steaks are cook your own on charcoal and they were amazing as usual.

Chocolate milk was very good if I do say so myself

I shot a 97 and 96 using 37 year old IVI/CIL target loads that a friend gave me, I used a Win 1400 MKII and an 1100.

I was happy with my scores for not having shot a round of skeet since mid april.

Yes it's his own club, but he has an open shoot every year where anyone is welcome to come.

I met him several years ago and have shot with him a few times. He is a very nice fellow indeed. I can't recall if it was Les Sanders(Rockcut Shooting Club) or Wally Baumann(Orillia Gun Club) who introduced us? One or the other.

Likely Wally ... haven't bumped into him for a while either. Last I heard he was patrolling Bracebridge I believe.

Shot with both Frank & his brother Chuck many, many times at Orillia - but haven't seen either one for a couple of years now.
Never been out to Frank's place despite invitations ... always something in the way. Great guy ! Very supportive of the sport.

Yes Wally is doing the patrol thing again, friend of mine ran into him not long ago. I went to a sporting clays invitational he puts on, or used to put on, I don't know if he still does or not? It was on the French River off Hwy 69. Alot of folks Frank shoot's skeet with were there but I cannot recall if he was, that was over a decade ago.......the memory bank is still on 256k!! LOL

Too busy I guess, we are installing new, bigger equipment in the dairy for more/faster production, so I've been tied up since february with that and it won't be over till november at the present rate.

I've been to a couple shoots and even dabbled in the dark side with a good friend, had fun, can't say I broke them all...lol

I'm hoping next year, find a new gun and get back on the wagon!
