When you start something ( restricteds) you dont really know what you will like...
You have to try many handguns to know wich one will be shooters for you... In my case i bought 3 brand new Glock 17 /22 /21 without really knowing them...

No way, i am saying those are bad, actually they are full reliables, they are just not fun to shoot... When my Les Baer Premier ll made it here, i never touched my 21 again once...
When my IWI Jéricho 9mm got here, i brought both it and my 17 to the range and shoot them side by side, i was so much more accurate with the IWI...
Another Glock to the shower, 17 in the safe... And i was real impress by the shooting quality of the Jéricho, that i am ordering one in 40 S&W, it wont be long before the 22 safequeen itself...
When you dont know, you dont know... I will keep my Glocks for keeping them in the safe... I believe in trial and error, in that case it really help me decide what i dont like... JP.
 
That's a shame JP. Glocks aren't meant to languish in the back of a safe. Perhaps you should put them on the EE and allow someone else the chance to give them the fresh air and high-velocity diet they so richly deserve.

I thought about doing that but they really go for low prices, i'de rather keep them, then selling them for 60% of their value, the market is a buyers market, they dont bother me in the safe... JP.
 
Yah…my Glocks are boringly reliable, shoot straight and don't ask for any special treatment. They take rough use and never complain when they don't get cleaned regularly.
They're like Timex watches…."Takes a Licking and keeps on Ticking" (something like that).
 
I cannot do it because it's in... I really have to feel it, to enjoy it, those Glocks dont cut it for me... JP.
 
And for me it was totally different, once I had my first glock, I started selling my others.
The glock system just fits me great, and has been so problem free, its been a joy to shoot.
You could always switch your g22 from 40sw to 357 sig if you wanted something a bit different, might still use it then lol
But your right, you have to try a bit of everything before you arrive at your favorites.
Not everyone jumps in as deep as you did thou lol :p

The trigger is so awfull, i became a better shooter with my Les Baer Premier ll, it was the turning point in my short restricteds carrer, i feel when i am shooting the Glock, i am working overtime, without much results... But that could be only me, i will order another LB, because they make shooting easy... JP.

Nothing wrong with a Glock trigger, if you look to the best shooters they can shoot anything.
 
never been a Glock fan.. Simply not a fan of the striker fired plastic guns in general. I have a M&P 9 that I bought just to be certain about my feelings.. It is a novel gun, and accurate enough if you try hard, but I just am not into the trigger feel and weight distribution of a plastic gun.

I like the heft of an all steel 1911 :)

I guess if we had reasonable gun laws I could at least love the magazine capacity of the 'modern' guns.... sigh
 
True and understandable but the whole point of shooting is the shooter not the gun..

Our forefathers had limited technolgy but there were some fine shooters even then.

To me the challenge is to overcome the difficulties from gun to gun and excel..
The Glock is my constant reminder not to get so full of myself when I shoot a CZ Shadow or 1911 that is so easy to shoot accurately.
 
To each his own for sure. I love my Glock 17, its my go to gun should SHTF. Dropped in a ghost trigger bar and some Meprolight tru dot sights and it shoots the centre out of any target a 25 yards.

We think different here, for me the goal of having a passion is having the most performing tool for the task, this way the best concentration from my part wont be limited by a tool that dont give me top shelve performance... Just saying... JP.
