T97 bursting

Several times now my t97 has fired two or three rounds on one trigger pull. Not sure if it is the gun or me maybe bumpfiring by accident somehow. Got a real dirty look from a range officer once.

Anyone else experiencing this?

It is not happening too often. I have put probably a thousand rounds through the rifle and experienced it maybe six or seven times. Once it fired a burst of three.

Have you taken it apart? There may be something loose around the trigger assembly that's causing the sear to slip. Also, when did you last clean it? I'm not too familiar with these guns but if it's a free float firing pin, maybe it dirty causing the pin to stick in the extended position resulting in slam fires?

Have you cleaned your rifle yet ?
Not being familiar with the t97, is it a free floating firing pin ? If so you need to clean the bolt more often to get the grunge out.
There may be junk in the trigger mechanism causing it to do it. But thats less likely than a stuck firing pin.
