I shot one of those Zev glocks this weekend, and even though I'm not a fan of glocks, I liked this one.
Very comfortable in hand, more accurate than most glocks, and very very stylish..
But in that price range there are a lot of options..

Why? Buy one off gunbroker, have the GB seller send it to them, order your build preferences, then have them send it to IRG to import it. At the end of the day it is still a glock. Same frt.

I was looking on gun brokers website and they have a couple of Salient Arms Glocks and 1 AR-15 on there they also have a few ZEV Glocks which are built by a company called Glockwox they are some pretty sick guns. this would have to be the ###iest 1911 I've ever seen it is by a company called christensenarms the slide is made from Damascus and the frame is made from Titanium and the grips are real Carbon Fibre.

Ya it is $500 alone for the slide with no internals

You can do it yourself. It just takes patience and a soldering iron.

My G17 frame is grinded, stippled, etc, pretty close to what they do actually.

A stock Glock is pretty darn slippery and if you ask me definately needs some gringing and stippling to make it worthy.

The RTF2 texture was pure genius.
