I just got a 10-22 with lots of work done. At the range I found it had horrible trigger pull. It still had factory hammer. It shot some sub 1/2 "groups at 50, but some 1"+ groups. After stoning the hammer some and a light touch on the sear, the trigger was about 3 lbs. I can now shoot much tighter groups If I do my part. I was going to put in a Volquartsen set in but I am happy for now. I did put a Volquaretsen in my 597 and it was the best $$ spent. Looking forward to getting a few of the late season gophers with it.

for a 10/22 if sounds pretty damn tight to me!
It will shoot very well but should, Volquartsen barrel, & extractor set, Boyds lam. thumb hole stock. It had factory action & trigger so for my need to fix. It was a good deal & there are a couple mod. 10-22s in the 50 yd challenge so I thought I would try. How many 22s are enough? Not there yet!
