Op rod spring and guide popped out of its mounting slot as the op rod spring catch slid back and allowed the spring and guide to jam the rifle. This causality occurred in my new Sage EBR stock. Apparently this is common in this set up. To correct the problem and to stop it from happening again I used red Locktight on the catch mechanism. Problem corrected. However if I wish to break the weapon down (gas system and op rod) how do I overcome the locktight? Will the heat from a small butane torch allow me to remove the op rod catch and dismantle
the op rod guide and spring?"
