Entry Into the CZ world...

I really like the CZ 452/455 rifles but what gets me down on them is the cost of extra clip/magazines prices are high. I still need 3x 10 round mags for each model and I just can't justify buying them.

Why do you need 6 mags for two guns? Both take the same mags any you only shoot one gun at a time.Won't 3 do you for now/ "lol"

I understand the Lux has one of the best OEM irons in the CZ ,22lr line up(?). I was considering getting one for informal plinking <100yrds and having a change from my other 2 scoped rimfires.
She's a beauty!....let us know how it shoots and with what type of ammo it likes best....

Hey johNTO, if irons is what you are after, look for a lux or full stock 452. They have beautiful sights. I wish they kept them with the 455.

Personally, I do not see any difference in terms of open sight target acquisition, accuracy potential in a comparison between the tangent or the current 455 rear sight. FWIW, I've owned and used BRNO rifles (later CZ versions) since a time period when Czech products were known/used by very few here in NA.

my 452 is a 22LR and I plan on using it for Benchrest shooting matches, I really don't want to stop shooting a match when I'm focused, just to load mags. my cz 455 is a .17HMR so that should explain that.
