Remington M-597 TVP .22 L.R. Thoughts or Opinions?

Would like to hear from the gallery your thoughts and opinions about Remy's M-597 TVP (target, varmint, plinker) in .22 l.r. as shown from the Remington website above.
I haven't seen very many of this model advertised anywhere.

Looks like a 597 HB with a scope rail in a Boyds SS Evolution stock. MSRP seems a little higher than what one could DIY it for?

I should point out that the "TVP" model uses an alloy receiver and the heavy barrel is stainless steel. I've seen the Boyd's stocks, one in particular on a M-597 build featured recently on this site but it differs only slightly where the free floated forearm is a tad longer on the Remy. It's a very comfortable stock even for a southpaw like me.
