The two things you have listed are quite opposite. My experience when calling coyotes is they appear somewhere between 200 yards and bayonet distance, mostly closer like 80 yards and depending on the terrain...very seldom...way out there. For that a good hunting variable.
The long range target shooting would need a higher top magnification variable, while the calling would need a low number for field of view and finding the dog ...when they are close.
I hope that you got a rather tight twist barrel to stabilize large for caliber projectiles. The 22-250 is still a 22 centrefire and the big pills carry the accuracy and fight wind to distance better than typical 40-50 grain pills.
The two scopes that jump out at me would be the Leupold mark 6 or maybe the Bushnell 6500, just because of the large variable ranges. I am sure that something like a Sightron would cover those ranges. When you come up with a 1-2K budget for glass, the world is your oyster.

I'm building a 22-250 on a Sako 75 which started as a 7-08. Figure the extra length in the mag box will be nice for the heavier bullets.

Why did it take 2 years to get it? Maybe i lucked out, but i got my sako on the shelf in .243.
I have a 4-12 vx2 on it. Im not sure if ill keep it on the gun or not, im considering moving my 3-9 vx2 over to the sako. If you're shooting prone off a bi-pod, 250 yard shots on small puppies are easy, and the eye box on a 3-9 is MUCH kinder than the 4-12. If your shots are under 350 yards, id stick to a 4-12 at MAX. Ive only been yote hunting for 2 years now, so im no authority.
