Quick change setup for presses

I'm sure many of you have the same problem as I'm about to have; a small reloading bench and multiple presses. So far been using a Redding Big Boss II and about to add either a Dillon 550 or a Lee Classic Cast Turret for pistol. Got a Lubrisizer on the way as well.

I encountered PatMarlins ROCKDock system along with his SHELFDocks for storing presses nicely when not in use. Looks pretty neat as zero turning of screws is required to swap presses.

Anyone try this system or any others that you are happy with or not so happy with?

I know most of you guys are pretty skilled and many have put together their own quick mount setup. I'd prefer to pick something up that has been put together and tested by someone else as long as the expense isn't ridiculous.
 
I bolted my 550 strong mount to a piece of birch plywood with some small carridge bolts countersunk from the underside! Then with a single eye bolt & a piece of oak anchor it to the table. I will add the photos to see how & better understand....




This is those little doo-hicky nuts that dig into the underside of the table that the eye bolt screws into.


When not in use or want to use the table for another press or lubing/resizing it is removed easily & stored in the closet. I usually just poke a hole in a big paper bag & slide it over the press to keep the dust & cat fur off....
It seems to work good for my needs,....hope it helps you!

ruffbird, that is ingenious! Does the press not move around since it is only one carriage bolt holding it with the anchor piece of oak? The anchor ok is putting down enough pressure evenly distributed to prevent the press from moving around?

Glad you asked that question & thanks for the comment,....The eye bolt holds it down tight enough, but after awhile it wants to swivel when you push on the handle to seat a primer. I just use a 3" C-clamp on one side to keep this from happening. Same one I use to anchor my Lyman 450 to the table....
 
I did something similar with my 550, but with a piece of 2x12, so it can be C-clamped to any table. The Strong Mount is one of the nice features of the 550 in that it allows you to unitize the press into a portable package that can be easily mounted and dismounted for storage.
