So I'm reading reviews and looking online but I'm seeing little on using a Dragon on a 10.3" barrel. Does anyone here have any experience with one on a shorty?

My interest is how well the sights will stay on target during rapid fire. I just mounted my YHM Phantom 5M1 as a test run to see what kind of a difference a comp will make on a SBR. I'm willing to trade noise and concussion for stability.

If it doesn't perform on the shorty, there's always the Pig.

I have a lantac on my DDMK18, shot approx 5000-6000 out of it indoors on a line with 4-8 other shooters. The lantac is less obnoxious on my MK18 than brakes like the micheliak on a 14-16" barrel. It does not blast the shooter or those to the side (as much) as the ports are 90 degrees to the barrel and not angled rearward like most brakes.

I can't comment on the lantac but I had a s&j linear on my 11.5 sbr and I would get frowns from guys around me on the range. It's bloody loud lol. The felt recoil Is sharper than when I use my vortex break on it and honestly didn't notice it kept me on target much better than the vortex.

I have it on my dd mk18 haven't tried it yet but will in a couple weeks.

You did read the thread right?

By my count one guy has it but hasn't shot with it and you gave your opion regarding blasting other shooters. I want to know how well it works for follow up shots on the short barrel, not how the muzzle blast does or doesn't affect other shooters.

Bump!!
Anyone (else) running the Dragon on their SBRs? How about the Surefire MB556K?

There we go, all cleared up now then. :)

P.S. Follow up shoots are quarter sized groups as fast as my little finger can pull the trigger from 10m opening to twoonie size at 25m, all ya had to do was ask.
