I'll buy one, just for the principle. Considering about the failed imports and all the troubles you had in the past.

What ever happened to that 858 shipment ?

With, maybe the adder, "furniture/dustcover/sights/muzzle devices, as shown. No other PRODUCTION options available; GTFOI, and start your aftermarket "acquisition process" NOW..."

I have to admit - when I first saw the pics in this thread weeks ago I didn't like the look of either version. But for some reason I keep coming back to read the comments, (many silly), and now, low and behold, these units are starting to grow on me. That, to me is a sign of a true classic.

I want the tactical.

And I won't be feeding corrosive ammo to such a fine firearm. Isn't that what SKS are for?
 
The rails are a definite enhancement over the original. I may even fabricate a rail mounted brass catcher for use at the range depending on how it throws the brass; searching through the grass quickly becomes tiresome.

I wonder, would it be possible for the top cover screws to be chromed? Haha.

The more info you put in the original post, the less questions you have...

I don't care about barrel chrome, nor do the cover screws bother me much, I can even dismiss the lack of USB and WiFi. However the lack of a fitting B&T magwell adapter is a bummer tho. Then again, at least I can put the load of CZ/VZ mags to use without needing to buy more XCR mags ;)
