***New to Canada*** SAP6 MAG-FED FLAT-TOP 11.4" 12GA Shotgun **NON-RESTRICTED**

We've had lots of requests for an extended barrel with interchangeable chokes, so we spoke to the manufacturer. Cost would be around $249. You guys still interested? If so, what barrel length do you guys want?

13" barrel would have been perfect so it meets minimum barrel length regulations for hunting purposes, not overly concerned with chokes but always a bonus.

It also reliably shoots 3". I think this would make a very good bush bear defense gun. Seems reliable and that's what you want vs. bear... Light weight, reliable, more power, extra shots, fast reload... I think this will be my next shotgun...
to not be considered a pistol under BC hunting regulations it needs a 12" or longer barrel.

12" and threaded to take commonly available chokes so there is a good selection of regular and extended ones available.

Still curious to know if it will take 870 stock accessories? Just curious to know if I could swap the stock for a Knoxx stock! If so I'm buying...

I like the design, aside from it being mag-fed.

Mag-fed short shotguns totally destroys the compactness of the short OAL.

This shotgun could be a real winner without it. (and cheaper?)

edited to tone down mag-fed hate.

And you know this for sure because...

...it's not a Rem 870 clone.

If the stocks were compatable it would be great and definately worth mentinoning in a sales thread but that gun looks a lot like my buddy's Armed pump. I can't recall exactly how the stock mounted into his receiver but it was different then an 870.

Anything's possible though perhaps the Knoxx could be modified to fit or BadBoy can come up with an adapter/single loop sling option.

Now that's a good answer...thanks

The 4.5lb weight is the biggest thing that attracts me right now.

Question: does the stock tube take telescopic AR15 buttstocks? If so it is a commercial tube, or a milspec tube?

Sorry no compatibility with AR-15 buttstocks

The stock looks in house.
Not much on this gun will easy off the shelf modifiable like with an 870 based design.
That's why part support will be critical.

All warranty work is handled in-house. We have parts on-hand.

Interesting...except the stock. Any chance it's compatible with 870 accessories. And ya...tell me that magwell isn't polymer! Ditto on the hand stop.

Sorry 870 parts are not compatible to the best of our knowledge. You may be able to put a handstop on, however the pump is stippled heavily and is indented for hand placement. The spring also reduces the amount of forward pressure required, further reducing the chance of slippage.

Wtf? That's the only thing holding it in battery? By the vid it look like a pump assist.

Instead of a mechanical lever holding the lock in place, the spring tension holds the lock in place. Hard to explain, but it's not just the spring tension holding the bolt in battery.

I like it!

What receiver is that built on?

The receiver is proprietary

Luckyluc82 this is an exert from the Ontario hunter education "You must plug a semi-automatic or repeating shotgun so that it will not hold more than a total of three shells in the chamber and magazine combined. Under the Criminal Code of Canada you cannot possess any clip/magazine that holds more than five shots for a semi-automatic centre fire rifle unless that clip/magazine has been specifically exempted pursuant to the Firearms Regulations."

Here is the link - http://www.ohep.net/Info.cfm?ID=3

Might be a good read for a refresher on the regulations, especially if you're hunting in my neck of the woods.. lol
