Ah, I live in Vancouver so I have to pay HST whereas TradeEx I only have to pay GST.

TradeEx: 28.6c a round tax in
CanAm: 29.1c a round tax in

To be fair though this only applies to BC residents so I will update my earlier post.

If you relocated to Alberta you would get lots of orders from me!

You know you're losing out on 240rds right?

Tradeex: 239 for 880
Canam: 249 for 1000

Yes, I was aware of the 120 round difference. I calculated the price per round, so, it didn't matter.

Canada Ammo just lowered their price $10. It's now the cheapest online deal no matter which province you live in.

CanAm, I'm looking at buying your mosin and ammo combo (sick deal) and am wondering if the mosins go through any sort of inspection before shipping. Also, do you still feel most of the Norinco 54R are non-corrosive ? I know I could very well receive corrosive ammo but at that price it would be a worth the risk.

Thanks guys!

We do not inspect them. Some of the ammo may be non-corrosive.

I was looking to maybe buy a cheap Mosin Nagant today but didnt find what i was looking for so i ended at wholesales sport in north edmonton to see that the 7.62x54r was a 224.99$ i think they are russian or bulgarian , finally ended with no Mosin but with a crate for the SVT ^^

I've bought the crate of 7.62x54r when it was $199.99 (instead of the regular $224.99).

It is Bulgarian ammo and shoots very well in my Mosin Nagants AND my SVTs.

I've used up one spam can and I'm keeping the other one in storage.

Last nite I went with the Canada Ammo deal of 1000 rounds for $199.99 and you get free shipping if you order $200 and over... so I added the "Swedish Style Outdoor Knife" for $5 to my order.

It is corrosive, 150gr, Copper washed, bi-metal jacket, steel core and 2011 production date.

Should get it this week.

I shot half a crate of 2011 norinco ammo. Fairly dirty, but no rust problems in mosins - only did regular cleaning (no hot water, windex etc). Few rounds had split necks from the factory and also had 1 dud. Other than that - good ammo. Wish I could buy some more :]
