K&M Arms M17S

$1800 US...figure upwards of $2500 CDN by the time it lands in your hands. Like a Tavor...

Ken stated it will be $1800 USD for either the US or Canadian versions. The absolute most IRG could justifiably take would be $200, otherwise you could simply custom order a Canadian rifle from K&M and have IRG import it for... $200!

You'll notice I state the $2500 is CDN money. By the time you add the gun, shipping, CC fees, taxes you'll be approaching that figure. I went on the high side to be safe...but once the numbers are in we'll know for sure what it will cost.

If IRG can bring these in in 308s...:D:D:D

Yeah, I guess you're right. Doing the math we start at $1800 USD +3% CC fee comes out to $2020 CAD (assuming $1.09 exchange), GST makes that $2122, add $200 for markup/import (hopefully less) and the $25 USD + ~$40 Canadian Shipping and we're right around the $2400 mark. Hopefully IRG waives their $200 fee as they have with other manufacturers. I apologize for being wrong, you do the math on this goddamn stuff and it sure adds up!

Not sure what .308s you are talking about as K&M has not yet officially announced a .308 M17S. It's "in the works" but no concrete details yet. The M17S pictured is a Bushmaster in 5.56 with a 20 round PMag.

I really like the simplicity of taking this rifle apart and being able to reach everything for cleaning and maintenance. Something I wish Tavor had.

At least judging by MAC video.

Better grab that GHW razorback rail from zahal when they get some. Allows you to remoce your barrel with out removing your optic rail and having to re-zero.

I don't understand the appeal at all. The upper receiver seems so boxy and wide, and only because it has to house that ridiculous looking bolt carrier.

Its nice to have options in the marketplace and all, but this thing is straight out of the 80's. It needs to be half the price of a Tavor, IMO.
