I was shooting it the other day and to my surprise noticed that rubber dust cover pieces all gone. There're some left overs in place but the rest are gone. Now my Swiss looks like FAMAE :) Should I even bother with replacement part? looks like those pieces are riveted.

Mine is chipped/wearing a little bit on the leading edge as well but I don't know how you'd replace it or if it's even worth the effort. Perhaps a use a piece of electrical tape?

FAMAE doesn't have those rubber pieces and works just fine. It's not like I am going to drop with it in the middle of desert anytime soon anyways ;)

Contact TSE to see what your options are, but I honestly doubt it is worth the effort for what you will get from it.

It is likely a 20 cent part that the factory charges $5.00 for, and costs $80.00 by the time you get one into Canada 14 months from now... lol.

Not to mention PITA installation process :)
