What the is over all length of a 10/22 with a 8 inch barrel with the factory stock cut to accommodate the barrel ?

Or with another stock that you'll name ?

Are factory made 6 inches barrel ok if the OAL over 26'' ?

I think my 10/22 with factory wooden carbine stock and my Krinker Plinker 8" barrel with AK74U brake was 27"

You could also use a measuring tape? Make a mark of a 8" barrel on the factory, then measure from that mark.

Is when it was welded.

26 1/4" for 8 and 24 1/4 for a 6" Thats close measurement from outside of the breach. to 6 and 8" ( mock barrel ) then from those measurements to the longest part of the buttstock.
 
Fyi I went with a dlask 8" barrel. It shot great but was really loud. As in need ear plugs atleast.
However Im guessing you know that already.
With my axiom stock Id have to pin it or it would be prohib.

you really might want to check on that , we went through that back in the 80's welding a piece on is not legally changing the barrel length.

Had nothing to do with barrel length, but OAL length. Doesn't matter I don't have it anymore. It was over 26" w/o.
