First restricted .

I would buy a 2245 MK2 over any of the guns on your list. VQ extractor and it will eat any ammo you throw at it. I had mine for 6 years and never 1 issue and thousands of rounds thru it of bulk .22LR. Plus tones of aftermarket support, mags are cheap, and common parts.

45ACP was my first gun, I went backwards.
 
Good choice on the Browning. They're like a tiny little 1911 that you can't help but like!

I second the motion that you purchase a Ruger 22/45 post-haste. They are excellent.

I figured I couldn't go wrong on the browning . Reviews on them are stellar and its a browning . It really came down to handling it though , it felt like real quality .
I love my rugers and I know I'll have a pistol of theirs ( probably more than one , lol ) .
That Browning black label is just such a sweet little thang though , I wanted my first registered handgun to be one I'd want to keep forever and it fits the bill . I bought two extra mags ( 10 rounders ) so I'm good to go .
It's going to feel like a slow two weeks until I pick it up ......sigh .
 
I'm in the same position, Once my RPAL gets here i'll be buying my first handgun as well, I have kinda set my mind to the Sig P226 classic beavertail with the 9mm conversion kit. A .22 for practice and learning plus extremely cheap to shoot then in like 10 seconds its a 9mm. I like that its a full size gun a lot of .22 are scaled down. Being a Sig its reputation is very good too, If people who go into harms way choose to carry a Sig that's a pretty good endorsement in my opinion.
