yup, a spilled pound of varget

interesting, the lid must have been loose when it was put in the bag.

hopefully most if not all of it's still in the bag.

a part of it is in between the paper bag and the plastic wrap.
they should have duct tapped the cap so they could not come loose during shipping ... or used a small box to fit them tight

Higginson's used to (and may still) ship pounds of powder in a plastic bag contained inside a small cardboard box.

Those stack quite nicely on a shelf!

I got 2lb of H4895 like that. I could smell it before I even opened the bag. Both bottles were popped open and the contents completely mixed up. I'm so glad they were both the same powder!

Bump....looking for a reply from them.... that's honestly a bunch of crap. If you're sending a bottle of anything it really should go in a box. If it doesn't, at least wrap in some cardboard and tape on the lid. Tyne crappiest part about what you've got there is that they are probably out of that powder now....

I just ordered the last 8 pounds of H4895 that I could find anywhere.....hope is not from the same place and I hope it's not the place you got yours from....The guys I bought from said they use purolator too, but they are shipping in a box because I've got a total of 18 pounds coming :)

Not to mention 16 pounds of Varget coming next week, maybe even 24 (8 pound jugs, can get a few of them thankfully... Might pick up extra to pass it on to guys in Calgary, but the 16 is mine! Haha!)
