Importing a CA (California) legal AR?

Would you import a California legal AR if the deal was that good.

Other than the 10 round mag (still needs to be pinned to 5) the pinned and welded flash hider, and bullet button all of which is a simple fix and legal here what would you do?

No. What a waste of time and money. The can buy a real AR without all the communist crap bolted on for much less money elsewhere.

Well even after import it would be close to 2k worth of savings and I really only want the upper for my project. A lower parts kit would solve nearly all the other issues except the pin welded flash hider.

What the hell kind of an AR are you importing that nets you $2k in savings?. Must be a $4k+ rifle or something. Spell it out and we can let you know. Being all cryptic isn't going to win you anything.

I am considering a KAC SR30. Which in CA legal is much cheaper to start than standard Rifles by nearly $1000.

I have noticed this for sometime and with a lower parts kit the stupid bullet button is a mute issue.

They made a bulllet button for their.ambi safety? Its going to be a pain to find a replacement for that.
