Cooey Model 60 - scope mount screw size

Gentlemen, does anybody know what size screws are needed for factory tapped receiver on Cooey Model 60?
Going to use old weaver N3 mount for it.

IIRC, they are 6-48, but could also be 8-40.

If its a factory drill and tap likely 8-40 after market could be 6-48 bubba smith could be anything I have seen 8-32 8-24 10-32 and so on

Thank you! Are those 8-40/6-48 screws are easy to find? Should I even bother checking regular hardware stores?

4x 8-40 screws required for factory Cooey 60/600 sidemount. I haven't had luck at my local hardware store finding them but many gunshops have a few extra floating around. You may need to adjust length of them so that when installed they won't bind your bolt.

I sold off the cooey in a moment of weakness.
I have 3 of the 4 screws it came with. The 4th is likely floating around my office floor. PM me if you want them.

I found matching screws in Canadian Tire - 55 cents a piece
used dremel to make them shorter :]
