Shorten PAL Approval Times

Why didn't you send the updated app in w/o the results as this thread has taught multiple times?

Also since you already have a PAL you are not subject to the 28 day waiting period.. so stay on them.

My test results were not returned to me until June 2nd

I mailed my Application on that day

On 7/9 my reference called in

8/19 Application Still sitting in a pile waiting final approval by CFO ON
Checked today online --> Same
So basically it will take take over 120 days - b4 I receive it

mailed out my application 3 weeks ago via registered mail. they received it on Aug 8. been checking online and nothing showed up. called today and they said i gotta wait at least 5 weeks before i even see it online.
 
They receive my Pal/Rpal app at the end of april, I called 3 times now, all they say is we have all the info we need we talked to your references and your app is on the desk of the firearm chief, apparently its been on his desk since may, its now 4 months later since they received it and hunting season is right around the corner now, im now at 90 business days twice as many days as they say it takes.... what is taking so long :(

are you in Ontario? Such a horror story.

Mine was received on July 30 and just appeared online today, Aug 25. Saw jpsx's story above, my heart just sunk.... Mine is for brand new RPAL.
Already jumped the gun(Is that illegal with my PAL first?? Lol..) and got the life CCSA membership. :)

Hmm,well cabelas website asked for the expiry on checkout... never tried to type in my license # to see if it would let me skip the expiry, but that's ok... I just bought I nice rifle in store and will wait until I get my card in the mail... the wait is killing me, lol.

Your expiry date is five years from this year with the month and date of your birthday so if your bday is November 3 then the expiration date would be 11/3/2019. That what mine is.
 
for whats its worth, i saw a guys file, there is a pile of checks they do everytime you renew of buy something., even to see if its age appropriate . also they keep a record of your conversation. so keep conversations polite....

So, theoretically speaking, I should get mine one week after you get yours. :)
